Sliding is a very delicate move and the bowler should ensure that the slide is always a smart one and incidents of crossing over the fault line should be discouraged at all cost. As a bowler ensure that the hand is positioned appropriately during a release to avoid an embarrassing release and that you deftly maintain the back swing. Ball lifting is also a delicate move that requires precision so that you can hit the mark more precisely. This should go in line with ensuring that a smooth delivery to avoid bangs as this shows you are throwing the ball, quiet delivery will show that your indeed bowling. These skills will however not be achieved overnight but are skills a bowler will learn on his way up. Practice makes one perfect and as a beginner, one needs to do much practice. A bowler can join a local league to make the game more captivating and to maintain a sense of consistency in playing the game.
