This is red to reddish-brown in color and usually accumulates in elbows, knees, scalp and chest. This disease tends to run in families.
Tuberculosis or TB is a chronic or acute bacterial infection that primarily affects and attacks the lungs, but may also affect other parts of the body like kidney, brain, bones, and lymph nodes. This disease is caused by a bacteria called Mycobacterium tuberculosis, a rod shaped bacteria. This is a communicable disease caused by infection of the bacteria in the lungs.
Many people accumulate the bacteria in their body over time but don't show any signs and symptoms of TB. But whenever their immune system collapses, noticeable symptoms develop quickly like chest pain, coughing, shortness of breath, loss of appetite, weight loss, fever, chills and fatigue.
