To begin this recipe you will first want to pull out your juicer and plug it in. Quickly give the machine a once over to make sure it's sterile and clean. Moving forward, next you will need to take out your two green apples and thoroughly wash and rinse them using cold tap water. Do leave the skin on the apples, as it will get filtered out by the juicer, and does contain some nutritional value. Next thoroughly wash and rinse your eight carrots. Finally take out a sharp kitchen knife, and quarter both the apples and carrots. Place a tall glass under the juice spout, and begin juicing the produce. Depending on how moist the apples and carrots are, you may need to adjust your proportions accordingly to yield the most juice. Once all the juice has drained into your glass, give it a quick stir to make sure both ingredients are evenly distributed throughout. As an optional garnish add one fresh mint sprig to your glass.
